Rock Solid donate £1500 towards hall roof repairs

Rock Solid recently donated £1500 towards essential roof repairs to the Village Hall. Shown below, is a letter of thanks (PDF) from the Community Council to Mark Wederell, General Manager UK followed by his reply. Handing over of the cheque was covered by the Courier newspaper and should be available soon.

Morning Neil.

Thank you very much indeed for the letter of thanks, that will be most appreciated by our owners Mr Bleeker and Mr van Craaikamp. We are truly thrilled that we have been able to help in some way towards helping to rebuild community engagement and community spirit for the local residents on the back of the dreadful times that we have all been through of late.

I also note with thanks your kind words regarding my own involvement in this, and I will continue, subject to funds being available and projects being applicable, to continue our commitment to valid and valuable community projects in the area.
