Community Support Leaflet

Between Thursday and Friday, the Community Council organised the following leaflet to be distributed amongst the various dwellings within the communities of Giffordtown, Charlottetown, Edentown and Kinloch. Click here to read the leaflet

For many people, asking for help from others can be a huge step. If you are hesitating about asking, then think about it like this:

• It's a good way to get to know your community better.

• The volunteers would be delighted to help

• We're all in it together

Examples of the sort of help are: Collecting things; groceries, medicines, parcels. Doing things; walking the dog, retuning a tv that's gone off station, bleeding a radiator, delivering stuff (mail/parcels). Listening; a chance to chat, laugh, swap stories.
