Special Meeting – Paths & Access

23rd Feb 2021 at 1930hrs via Zoom



The Giffordtown & District Paths Working Group (PWG) is seeking financial assistance from Giffordtown & District Community Council to support a small self-help improvement project within the local community to aid access along two well used paths.


To enable easier and safer access along paths for local residents, the Paths Working Group is seeking to cut back the vegetation and repair a boundary fence along the FN 437-Coffin Road as well cut back vegetation along Core Path 350 between Easter Kilwhiss and the C57/Shiells Avenue.


Community Council funding is being requested to cover the equipment hire and fence repairs to enable Path Working Group volunteers to undertake this work prior to the spring vegetation growth. It is hoped this work will have a direct benefit to the local community. A meeting to discuss the funding request is planned to take place on Zoom on:


23rd Feb 2021 at 1930hrs


All local residents are invited to attend and make any comments. This is especially important if you have a direct interest in how paths and access are managed for your benefit.
