Heathers trimmed back post flowering to prevent them becoming 'leggy'. They look a bit shorn but will soon recover and put on new growth.

Nepeta had its 'Chelsea Chop' as it was already about 3 feet tall.







Sweet corn planted out and looking a bit pathetic, but they were running out of nitrogen in their seed cells. Like everything else would benefit greatly from a good drink. Sweet corn planted in a block to enable cross pollination.

Swedes thinned out to 8 ins apart.

Peas now weeded and supported by a double row of sheep netting - pics to follow.

Weed control easy just now with a dutch hoe and a hot day.
