The Hamlets Open Gardens

We are holding our annual Open Gardens event on Sunday the 3rd of July and we heartily welcome new participants. The day consist of tea/coffee with scones, jam and cream at the hall, followed by visitors touring the open gardens and a BBQ in the evening for those who participate in hosting the event. Its not about having the perfect garden but rather sharing your plans, successes and the things not working as you hoped with other enthusiasts. It’s a lighthearted and fun day, when everyone gets tips and new ideas for their garden and a good feed with other enthusiastic gardeners at the end. There is also a competition to grow the tallest sunflower to win the John Arbuckle Garden Dibber Trophy.
